General Notes: Husband - Robert L. Stebbins
He owned a place of 180 acres of well-improved land; also owned and operated the only cane-mill for the manufacture of sugar and molasses from Northern cane or sorghum in Cussewago Township, Crawford County, Pennsylvania, which he established in 1880. This was perhaps the largest establishment of its kind in the state. He took a deep interest in the improvement of live stock, and was engaged in the raising of thoroughbred short horn cattle on his farm. Mr. Stebbins held the office of Town Clerk and various township offices. In politics he was a Republican.
