General Notes: Husband - George Bashline
He and his wife were both natives of Columbia County, Pennsylvania, and settled in Monroe township, Clarion County, in 1824. There they lived on one hundred acres of land. He was a Democrat, and a member of the Lutheran church; she was a member of the German Reformed church. [GPHAV, 354]
He carried on the occupations of farming and stock-raising upon the acres he had made his own. He was identified with Monroe town-ship in Clarion county, and there his family was brought up. In political beliefs he was a Democrat. Both he and his wife were members of the Lutheran church. [GPHAV, 775]
