General Notes: Husband - Andrew Stevenson


At the age of twenty-five, he came to Frankfort Springs, Hanover township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, and engaged in milling in partnership with his brother John, to whom he sold out two years later. He then returned to Washington County, where he carried on agriculture five years; then came back to Beaver County, where he farmed and kept store at Frankfort Springs two years. He owned two farms in Beaver County, one of 170 acres and the other of 200 acres, and also one of 191 acres in Washington County.
He and his wife were members of the Presbyterian church. He was a Republican.
