General Notes: Husband - Samuel Dillon


He was a cabinet-maker and carpenter by trade.

He and his wife were of the Quaker persuasion.

James Yates, one of the parties employed by Thomas Penn in 1732 to walk for the land purchased from the Indian sachem, Tedyuscung, was Mr. Dillon's paternal grandfather.


General Notes: Wife - Vashti Barton


She was born in New Jersey, and removed with her father's family into the state of Ohio in 1806.
