General Notes: Husband - John Ritchey

Armstrong Co, PA

He was born in Ireland, and came with his parents to America when a small boy. In 1824, he removed to a farm, later occupied by David Beyer [in Indiana County, Pennsylvania?]

Another source has considerably different information about him:
Thomas Ritchey: He was a native of the north of Scotland, of Scotch-Irish parents, and came to the United States when he was but one year and a half old. His father was a farmer and a tanner and his son succeeded to his business in Indiana County, Pennsylvania, in which the original immigrant settled with his family. [BOB37JD, 526]
