General Notes: Husband - Abram Snyder

In 1852 he located in Brookville, Clarion County, Pennsylvania, where he followed his trade of blacksmith in partnership with William Stewart for nine months. He then conducted business alone until 1865, when he sold his smithing business and engaged in the grocery business, continuing until 1877. He then returned to his original trade and continued until failing health caused his retirement. He was for many years a faithful member of the Methodist Episcopal church, and a man of most excellent character.
