General Notes: Husband - Robert B. Rodgers
He served in the Civil War; received a broken leg in the war. He taught vocal music and led the singing in the United Brethern Church in Canal Township,Venango County, PA.
He enlisted in the 121st regiment, P. V., under the command of General Warren. He fought in the Battle of the Wilderness during the nine days fight, and several other engagements. The last engagement he was in was taking the Weldon railroad. He was honorably discharged June 12th, 1865.
