General Notes: Husband - Bankhead Boyd Barr


Civil War: he enlisted in 1862, in Co. G, 140th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers; was wounded at the Wilderness May 9, 1864, and died at Alexandria, Virginia. His remains were brought home and his body was interred in the family burying ground at Pigeon Creek, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
