General Notes: Husband - David Bartley


He learned the brick moulder's trade, which he followed for several years. He married and about 1846 purchased a tract of unimproved land in Clay township, Butler County, Pennsylvania, from his father-in-law. His first wife did not long survive, and he subsequently married again, and with his second wife had eight children, six of whom were still living in 1895.
