General Notes: Wife - Helen Fleming Reed
She was a member of the faculty of Sharon High School. She organized the Pymatuning Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and aided in establishing the New Castle Chapter of the Society of the War of 1812, of which Chapter she was vice-regent. She was a graduate of Wellesley College, and a member of the Youngstown Wellesley Club.
