General Notes: Husband - Joseph Swab

He was a native of Pennsylvania, and when a young man came to Clarion County, where he married and engaged in farming until his removal to Venango County, in 1865. In Pine Grove township he opened up a farm, which he successfully operated until his death.
Of the thirteen children born to him and his wife, twelve reached years of maturity.
