General Notes: Husband - William Ray
He was born on a sailing vessel between Ireland and the United States, when his parents were en route to America. They located near Evans City in Butler County, Pennsylvania, and later lived in Missouri.
He met with a terrible accident, the loss of one limb in a reaping machine, which proved fatal, terminating his life five days after its occurrence.

After the death of her husband, she lived with her daughter and son-in-law, John Staples.
