General Notes: Husband - Harold Leigh Baum

He farmed with his father for several years after his marriage before moving to Hamilton County to an irrigated farm along the Arkansas River. Blown out in the dust bowl, he moved his family to Weld County, Colorado, where he established a truck line and dealt in produce. He bought and sold farms for a number of years, retiring to Fort Collins. Unable to sit, he worked for the National Park Service as a summer employee well into his seventies.
