Url D. Pryer.
Url D. Pryer, aged 58 years, born and reared in Rockland township, died suddenly last week near his ranch home 40 miles from Bakerfield, California. Mr. Pryer was born on January 14, 1871, the son of A. J. Pryer, of Franklin, and the late Mrs. Nancy Smith Pryer, who died in 1917. He had been a resident of California 35 years and was engaged in ranching.
Surviving the deceased are his father, 87 years of age, and an invalid, residing with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Williams, of 310 Pacific street. Surviving also are the following brothers and sisters: Jesse L. Pryer, of Cranberry; Mrs. Clarence Bird, of Westfield, N. Y.; Mrs. Roy Downing, of Tiona; Mrs. F. M. Hughes, of Cranberry; Mrs. J. B. Williams, of Franklin; Mrs. A. W. Nickle, of Rocky Grove; John L. Pryer, of Pittsburgh; Mrs. R. J. Herman, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; Mrs. E. H. Peebles, of Bredinsburg; Mrs. Evelyn Sterling, of Hammond, Ind., and Mrs. William Ritts, of Franklin.
