General Notes: Husband - Christopher Shoff, Jr.


He was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; his youth, however, was mainly spent in Centre County. He followed the cabinet maker's trade there for a time, but after his marriage, he settled in Clearfield County, purchasing 112 acres of woodland. This he cleared and cultivated, his first home being a log cabin, and in 1855 he built a comfortable two-story frame house, and made such other substantial improvements as his prosperity permitted.

He was born at Mill Hall, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. [CBRCP: CCJC, 693]
He was born in Clinton County, Pennsylvania, whence he accompanied his father to Lancaster County, and afterward to Clearfield County. [CBRCP: CCJC, 1025]
