General Notes: Husband - Thomas Potter

He migrated with his family from Snow Hill, Maryland, to Kentucky. They seem to have lived, also, in Pennsylvania, for it is recorded that on the journey to Kentucky, their daughter Nancy was taken with smallpox and was left with people near Ligonier in Westmoreland County. Her father promised to return for her, but as he did not do so it is supposed that he was killed by the Indians. Nancy never received tidings of any of her family.
