General Notes: Husband - Adam Baughman

---

After his marriage he settled on a farm in Armstrong County, PA, about seventy miles up the Allegheny River. Upon the death of his brother Henry, to whom in the division of their father's estate the homestead had fallen, he sold his place in Armstrong County and returned to Westmoreland County, and became the owner of and occupied the homestead until his death. At the time of his death he owned seven large farms in Westmoreland county.
Of his children, except Henry, all were married and raised families, and, with the exception of Polly and Christian, all settled in Westmoreland County, PA.
He died in 1841. [HWC 1882, 668]
