General Notes: Husband - John Potts

He was a soldier in the Revolutionary war, and settled in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, about the year 1796. He was a farmer by occupation.

He came to America from Germany, first locating in the eastern or central part of Pennsylvania, and later moving to Franklin township, Westmoreland County. He was a farmer and served in the revolutionary army, as did some other members of the family.
