General Notes: Husband - Henry Zeigler

After his marriage he commenced to farm on one hundred and sixty acres of land which had been given him by his father, making many improvements on the property, and erecting the necessary buildings. He found much oil and coal on this land, and lived there until about 1904, when he retired and lived in Zelienople, Butler County, Pennsylvania. He was in active service during the Civil War, but was fortunate enough to escape wounds and capture. He was a staunch Republican, and a member of the Reformed church.
