Kennerdell Man Dies of Burns Saturday
Harry Barr, 28, Dies Four Days After Accident at McKee
Burns suffered last Tuesday at the McKee Construction Company project caused the death Saturday at 4:05 p. m. of Harry Ross Barr, 28, of Kennerdell, in the Oil City Hospital. He had first, second and third degree burns of the back and arms.
Mr. Barr was born at Rouseville on June 21, 1915, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William B. Barr.
Surviving are his wife, Dolores Bump Barr, and three children, Everett R. Barr, 4, Albert L. Barr, 3, and Donald D. Barr, 18 months; and the following brothers and sisters: William C. and Roy Eugene Barr, of Oil City; Everett P. and Alvin Barr, of Rockland; Mrs. Florence Zamberian, of Bradford; Mrs. Clarabell Crowther and Burnice Barr, of Titusville, and Mrs. Betty McDonald, of Franklin.
The body was taken to the Osenider Memorial Chapel and on Sunday was moved to the W. C. Barr home, 102 East Bissell Avenue, where funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Tuesday with Rev. Harry Slagel, pastor of the Pine Hill Church of God, officiating. Interment will be in the Rynd Farm Cemetery.
