Harry D. Schoch
Harry D. Schoch, 75, of East State Road, Seneca RD 1, who worked for Mong Dairy for many years, died suddenly in his home at 5:15 a.m. today.
He was born in Rockland Jan. 7, 1908, a son of Norris and Jennie Schoch.
Mr. Schoch was employed for 37 yean as a salesman for Mong Dairy and then worked eight years as a custodian for Northwest Bank, Seneca, retiring May 31, 1983.
He was a member of the Seneca United Methodist Church and was a member of the administrative board and finance committee and had been a trustee of the church.
Mr. Schoch was married Aug. 28, 1929, to the former Olive Slocum who survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Wade (Phyllis) Perry of Seneca RD 1; three grandchildren, Joyce Marie Perry and David Vernon Perry, both of Seneca RD 1, and Thomas David Perry of Oil City; and a sister, Mrs. Frances McCrea of Bolivar, N.Y.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Morrison Funeral Home, Oil City, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.
