General Notes: Husband - Adam D. Tiger
On the 3d of May, 1827, Adam D. Tiger, in company with Peter Philower, located in the wilderness on the tract in Indiana County, Pennsylvania. It then required four and a half days to raise a smallround log barn, the settlers being few and distant several miles. The Adam D. Tiger homestead was Holland land, and was among the first improved tracts.
He served as justice of the peace for five years, constable six years, and school director and treasurer twenty-two years.
