General Notes: Husband - William Barnhart, Jr.
He purchased a farm in Hempfield township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, which became the family homestead. [or was it his father? BHCWC, 655 is not clear.]
In 1815 he bought a farm several miles northeast of Greensburg, near Hannastown, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, which he later bequeathed to his descendants. While he was hauling the last log for building a barn, he met with the accident which caused his death. The barn, however, was still standing a century later.
He was a successful farmer and a useful member of the Reformed church.
