General Notes: Husband - Robert S. Peters


He was a blacksmith by trade.
He enlisted in August, 1862, in Hampton's Battery, was wounded at Harper's Ferry, remained in Chestnut Hill hospital, Baltimore, for several months, rejoined his battery and served with it until the close of the Civil War. He was later engaged in the creamery business at Moundsville, West Virginia.
