General Notes: Husband - David Newcomer

---

In his youth he attended the subscription schools of the district. He was a farmer in German township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, a Republican, and a member of the Dunkard church.

His farm consisted of two hundred and thirty acres, on which he specialized in grain growing and stock raising. In politics he was a Republican; in religious faith a German Baptist.
