General Notes: Husband - Daniel W. Smith
After marriage he first located on a part of his father's farm in Smith township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, and on the death of the latter took charge of the home place. In connection with farming he raised stock and managed a dairy. In politics he was a Republican, and in religion he and wife were members of the Presbyterian Church at Candor.
