General Notes: Husband - Jacob B. Hensel
He adopted farming as his occupation, and about 1865 removed from Bell township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, to Loyaltromia township. He was a Republican in politics, and for three years served as poor director, also many years as a member of the school board. He was a member of the German Reform church, and was an officer of that body for several years.
He and his wife had fourteen children, eleven of whom were still living in 1906.
