General Notes: Husband - Samuel F. Peckman
He was educated at the public schools of his township, and reared on the farm, remaining there until 1895, when he embarked in a mercantile business with J. E. Miller, under the style of Peckman & Miller. After two years the firm was dissolved, and Mr. Peckman continued the business until April 1, 1902, when he sold his concern to J. N. Snyder. The business, general merchandising, was in excellent condition, and Mr. Peckman had made a success of it from the start. In religious matters Mr. Peckham is a member of the Reformed Church.
