General Notes: Husband - Henry Ealy

He remained on the farm of his father until twenty-one years of age, when he began life for himself with 25 cents in his pocket, as capital with which to begin in the world. He at once engaged in farm work, and soon saved a small sum of money with which he bought a tract of land situated about two miles down the creek from East Finley postoffice, and having paid for this, purchased more. By the time of his death he owned over 1,200 acres of land.
