General Notes: Wife - Susie Patchen


She resided in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, received a good common-school education, and followed teaching for two or three terms. Her musical education was acquired in the Boston Conservatory, and for a number of years before going to Philadelphia she engaged in teaching that art; she was later in the employ of the music firm of Fisher & Co., of Philadelphia.
