General Notes: Husband - George Barnett
He grew to manhood in Perry County, Pennsylvania, and learned his father's trade of miller and engaged in farming. He became the owner of the old family homestead, and there lived until his death. He was a Whig in politics, and both he and his wife were members of the Presbyterian church.
