General Notes: Husband - Noah Ridgway
He came to Venango County, PA, in the year 1800, with his son John. They built the first saw-mill in Venango County, along the “Broken Straw” stream. They subsequently went to Brownsville, PA, and later he built a combined grist and saw-mill about two miles northeast of Franklin. [HMC 1888, 1156]
