General Notes: Husband - John Niel

---

He was born in Indiana County, Pennsylvania, and after his marriage purchased a tract of land on the border line between Indiana and Jefferson counties. There he erected a grist and saw mill, which he continued to operate until his death, at the age of fifty-four years. His wife passed away some years later.
