General Notes: Husband - William D. Renick
He was nine years old when he came to America with his father, who settled for a time in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania. He was a blacksmith by trade and during the early fifties came to Slip-pery Rock Township, Butler County, and worked at his trade there until 1870, after which he de-voted his time to agricultural pursuits un-til his death.
By trade he was a blacksmith and about 1850 he moved to Slippery Rock Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania, where he operated a blacksmith business for many years. He also invested in farming land and prospered, so that at the time of his death, he owned 1,100 acres.
