General Notes: Husband - Samuel P. Gilmore
During the Civil War, he enlisted, August 30, 1862, in Company C, One Hundred and Fiftieth Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry; participated in the battle of Gettysburg; received a shot through the jaw at the battle of the Wilderness, and was honorably discharged July 18, 1865.
He was a member of the A. O. U. W. and the G. A. R.; in politics was a Republican.
