General Notes: Husband - Winfield Scott Perkey
He was educated at the local public schools, and afterwards followed in his father's footsteps and became a farmer. He later bought a farm in Fairfield (later Ligonier) township, consisting of one hundred and fifty acres, which he operated in association with his son and carried on extensive general agricultural operations.
He was a Republican in politics, and a member of the Dunkard Church.
