General Notes: Husband - David Beale Nesbit

First sergeant, Company F of the 28th Reg. Emergency Troops

He was a veteran of the Civil War, enlisting Apr. 18, 1861, at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, in the 4th Reg. Pa. Vol. Infantry. He was mustered out July, 1861, but re-enlisted the same year. He fought at Gettysburg and was present at the bombardment of Fort Sumter and Charlestown.
