General Notes: Husband - William Findley Siggins
He held all of the town offices: school director for twelve years, burgess for two terms, justice of the peace for two years, and other minor offices. He was a teacher for twenty years in early life, and taught the first graded school in Youngsville, Pennsylvania. He was postmaster under James K. Polk. He was engaged in the lumber business, but retired from active business in 1873.
