General Notes: Husband - Hon. Henry Jameson Myers
He was first an extensive farmer, with large merchant-mill on Conewago Creek, Tyrone Township, near New Chester, Adams County, Pennsylvania. He was so engaged until he removed with his family to New Oxford, April 1, 1873. He engaged in the business of forwarding and commission merchant and dealer in produce.
He was elected to the State Legislature in 1860, and re-elected in 1862, and beginning in 1873 was agent at New Oxford for the H. J. H. & G. Railroad in connection with his business.
