General Notes: Husband - Archibald Barnes
He received his education in the township schools and became a farmer. He lived his entire life in the vicinity of Sandy Lake, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.
Civil War: he enlisted in Company H, One Hundredth Pennsylvania Volunteers, February 27, 1864, and was honorably discharged at the close of the war.
He was a charter member of the Colonel Dawson Post 224 of Sandy Lake.
