General Notes: Husband - Richard Bard
Early in life he engaged in business in Big Cove, Fulton County, Pennsylvania. In 1843, he removed to Pittsburgh, where he engaged in the leather business, which he continued until his death. He was a prominent member of the Presbyterian church, and active in church work in Allegheny City.
