General Notes: Husband - Paul Neely
He was a native of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, moved to Clarion County about 1830, and to Venango County in 1847. He served in all the regimental offices of the state militia and was orderly sergeant of the Fourth Pennsylvania Cavalry, enlisting in 1861 and serving eight months. He was fifty-two years of age at the time he entered the war.
He died February 22, 1888. [GPHNP, 370]
