General Notes: Husband - Josiah McKinnie

---

He was a native of Ireland. He emigrated to America and settled near Carlisle, Pennsylvania, before the French and Indian War. About 1757, he came to Church-hill, in Peters township, Cumberland (later Franklin) County, but was driven away by the Indians and did not return for two years.

He and his wife had eleven children.
