General Notes: Husband - John Snyder

He lived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, when a young man, and married there. He was a hatter by trade. He moved to Freeport, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, and later to Saltsburg, Indiana County, subsequently, in about 1849, settling in Kittanning township, Armstrong County. He followed farming in his later years, owning eighty-two acres of land.
He was a member of the Methodist Church.
