General Notes: Husband - Valentine Moyer

He was an early settler in Berks County, Pennsylvania. He was a well-to-do farmer, served in the revolution and was a member of "Host Church." His wife, Margaret Barbara, survived him being generously provided for in his will made April 30, 1797, but all contingent upon her "remaining my widow." By a first wife he had a son Philip; by a second wife eleven children, of whom John Nicholas was the third.
