General Notes: Husband - Jonas Potts
He was a blacksmith by trade and moved to Loudoun County, Virginia, where he purchased 270 acres from David Potts, his half-brother, as appears by deed dated May 8, 1759, and his name appears in connection with many other transfers of land and property. He and all of his children moved to western Pennsylvania or eastern Ohio at about the beginning of the nineteenth century, where he and his wife died, and both are buried on Phillips Island, in the Ohio river.
