General Notes: Husband - Elon Speir

Excepting seven years spent in Ohio, he always lived in his native township. His principal vocation was farming, though he was engaged in the meat business one year in Ohio and six years in Mercer County, PA. He and his wife were members of West Salem Baptist Church. He was an ardent Republican.
