He was from Indiana, and came to Clarion County, PA, at an early day, and located on a farm in Toby township when it still formed a part of Arm­strong County. He died on that place, but his wife passed away while on a visit to Indiana. [Unclear from the source if Indiana, Pennsylvania, is meant, or the state of Indiana.]
