General Notes: Husband - Andrew Barnhart

Six families of Barnharts came to Butler County, Pennsylvania, in about 1796. They settled in what is now Fairview Township, originally a part of Donegal. They did not bring their families on the first trip, but erected cabins on their several selections of land, and commenced the task of clearing small spots of ground for cultivation.
