STOW RESIDENT MORE THAN HALF CENTURY IS DEAD
Mrs. Lucinda Baringer Of Hudson Rd., Summoned At 86 Years
FUNERAL ON TUESDAY
Mrs. Lucinda Baringer, 86, a resident of this section for more than 50 years, died Saturday night at her home on Hudson rd., Stow.
Mrs. Baringer had been in failing health since the death of her husband Joseph Baringer, 12 years ago.
Of recent years she was unable to leave her bed. She died quietly, with many members of her family at her bedside.
Born In New York
Born in Dutchess county, N. Y., she came to this vicinity shortly after her marriage in 1860.
She was the daughter of David B. and Martha Howard Traver, and was a descendant of Catherine Traver, who came to this country in 1775.
She was a lifelong member of the Methodist church.
Leaves Seven Children
She is survived by five daughters and two sons. They are Mrs. John C. Lusher, Rockland, Pa.; Mrs. Rose A. Delamater, Washington, D. C.; Mrs. Maude B. Work, Los Angeles; Mrs. Cecil C. Sams and Miss Ella V. Baringer, both of Stow, and Edward M. Baringer, Gloverville, N. Y., and Archie J. of Stow.
Funeral services will be held at the home at 3 p. m. Tuesday, with burial at Mt. Peace cemetery.
